The Suzuki Method(R) of Talent Education is based on Dr. Shinichi Suzuki's view that every child is born with ability, and that man is the son of his environment. According to Dr. Suzuki, a world-renowned violinist and teacher, the greatest joy an adult can know comes from developing a child's potential so he/she can express all that is harmonious and best in human beings. Students are taught using the "mother-tongue" approach. This product nicely complements the Janice Tucker volumes. I am doing well with this purchase, but if I did not already know how to read music, I would be struggling.

I found this book very good for accompaning my daughter with her violin. However, you must regard the fact that it is not for learning piano.

This is the book you need in order to accompany on the piano your young suzuki violinist. The book includes the violin line, and notes the introduction. An intermediate pianist will not have problems with this first volume. Enjoy.
