Product Description

This unique all-in-one cloth diaper design combines the convenience of an all-in-one diaper while providing the absorbency and adjustability of a pocket diaper. Made with a waterproof outer layer of PUL, 3 sewn-in layers of high quality microfiber terry, a layer of microfleece, and a full layer of cotton velour next to baby's skin. Microfiber terry is used as the soaker pad for its ability to absorb wetness fast. A layer of microfleece is used to provide a dry barrier between the velour top layer of the diaper. Swaddlebees mircofleece is the most non-allergenic material known to man. It is also one of the most moisture absorbent materials there is. The result is a diaper that quickly absorbs moisture and wicks it from the baby's body to hold it away in the built-in microfiber terry soaker layers. The microsfleece or suedecloth is not directly in contact with the baby's skin; skin sensitivity is not an issue with these diapers! Should the mircofleece layer ever experience buildup, liquid will be absorbed first by the cotton velour layer because of the cotton's inherent absorbent qualities. PLUS an extra insert or doubler may be added through the opening at the back to keep baby dry during the night. Small : Waist = 10-19" Thighs 8-13" Rise 14.5" Weight Estimate 8-16 lb. Medium: Waist= 14-21" Thighs 10-15" Rise 16" Weight Estimate 12-25 lb. Large: Waist= 15-24" Thighs 10-17' Rise 18" Weight Estimate 22-40 lb. TIPS ON USING: 1. The diapers need to be pre-washed at least once before use. Three to four times, and dried in between, is preferable. This causes the cotton fibers of the top layer to fluff up and become more absorbent. You may experience leaking if the diaper has not been pre-washed sufficiently. 2. Hemp inserts/doublers perform best when additional absorbency is needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Snaps and the pocket make this the best for my baby, August 2, 2006

I love the snaps. Both my babies (6 months and 20 months) wear the Swaddlebees and Mothers Touch cloth diapers. They both like to pull off their disposible diapers but they can't yank the snap diapers off their cloth diapers.
Plus I really like how you can stuff extra liners in the pocket for long car trips or when I put them down for a log nap.
I used to think there was no way I could do cloth diapers with two babies. But now I don't know how I could afford 2 babies in disposibles. With a family of 5 I'm doing launry every 2 days anyway so the cloth diapers are no big deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good all in one but there's a better option- UPDATE, May 27, 2008

This review is from: SwaddleBees Snap AIO (All-In-One) Cloth Diaper (Apparel)
I have tried multiple all in one diapers and this is by far the best. It isn't so thick that it makes fitting pants difficult (as some of the all in ones I have do) and it has the option of a pocket for additional absorption although I haven't really needed it. The snaps are perfect, very strong and easy to find the perfect size (three sets of double snaps on each side of the diaper). It is a very soft diaper as well and looks very nice. It is solid on the inside, so there are no flaps to move around and cause bunching or leaks. It has great elastic around the legs, with better leak protection than my disposables! All in all, a terrific diaper.

UPDATE:
I have been using these for 7 months now and I have noticed that they are more difficult to wash than my other cloth diapers. Even turning them inside out you still don't get out all the smell which leads me to wonder just how good these are for my son.
I prefer the SoftBums diapers- I have been using those for the same amount of time and they are by far easier to use and cheaper. One diaper has 3 snap ins which means one Softbum diaper is equal to 3 Swaddlebees and the Softbums still smell like a new diaper and absorb more liquid AND are far more trim (almost like your basic disposable diaper).

Overall I will not buy more Swaddlebees when my son outgrows them- I will be sticking with the Softbums.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great trim fitting diaper, December 27, 2006
By
I've tried many pocket diapers - Fuzzi Bunz, Happy Heiny, BumGenius, and Mommy's Touch. I like the way the Swaddlebees fits the best, although I would not recommend for a chunky baby. It's just as absorbant as the other types, and I like the supertrim fit. It seems a lot less bulky under clothes.
