Works great for all kinds of wet messy stuff,

I keep one of these in my diaper bag at all times! I use it for just about everything: dirty bibs, holding soiled cloth diapers (as well as disposables when there is not a trash can handy), wet or soiled toddler clothes, wet bathing suits, anything my kids mess up while we are out an about. As a mom I have found this bag to be like baby wipes, the more you keep one with you the more uses you find.

I would highly recommend Swaddlebees wet bags, especially for traveling with cloth diapers. They hold the wetness and smells in really well because they close tightly- they have never leaked for me. Great product!

Great for Diaper Bag,

Great for using in the diaper bag. We cloth diaper, and this eliminates the need for those little plastic dirty diaper bags, which are bad for the environment and expensive, and prevents the yuck from getting all over the diaper bag. I just through it in the washer with the diapers, dry it, and put it back in the diaper bag. Easy!

Awesome, but...,

We loved this bag and it worked just fine for us, but it didn't hold up to being washed. After being washed, the draw string got harder and harder to use and now it won't close at all. Great idea, but needs design work.

Bought 4, 3 don't work after a couple washings,

These worked fine for us for a couple washes. Would have been a 4-5 star product. But we haven't had them more than maybe 3 months, and after a few washings three of the four diaper bags we bought are almost impossible to close. What happens is the grommet that secures the drawstring falls off the stretchy fabric. The grommet seems to be the secret to closing the drawstring securely. Now basically the diaper bag stays wide open -- what's the use?
It seems clear to me that the company didn't QA the product in any normal use circumstance (like 5 or 10 washes even!). Money down the drain...

Non functional,
This review is from: Swaddlebees Wet Bag (Apparel)
I'm pretty disappointed in this wet bag that I bought for cloth diapering. The drawstring doesn't close at all but gets caught up on the PUL and I end up having to just wrap the cord several times around the top. So, yeah, the drawstring is totally nonfunctional making it kind of useless to keep smells and wet stuff in. I'm thinking about sewing a zipper in. I can't believe other reviewers aren't talking about this problem. . . Do yourself a favor: this bag sucks, buy a different brand.

We use the BumGenius 3.0 cloth diapers and this bag stays in our diaper bag. So far, we've not any issue with diapers stinkin' up the diaper bag or with yucky leaks. Love it!

Drawstring doesn't work,
This review is from: Swaddlebees Wet Bag (Apparel)
Very disappointing, drawstring does not smoothly pull closed. The bag's material is great, but then it won't close and I just weap the string around the opening of the bag, which doesn't keep it closed either. I would not buy this and wish I could return it (don't have receipt, was a gift).

Not waterproof!,

We use this for our cloth diapers and after a few days it often soaks through. It is made of a durable fabric (and I don't think it is intended to be waterproof, just water resistant). It does contain odors pretty well and washes easily - I wash it on cold, regular cycle and air dry. I use it with the "diaper decor" pail instead of their disposable liner bags and it is a bit big, but still works fine. I imagine it would work better for someone using disposable diapers becasue they are not so wet.

My Favorite Wet Bag,

I have 3 small wet bags bought to carry in my diaper bag for storing used cloth diapers. This one is my favorite. It's big enough to hold several diapers (5 or 6 as I've found on weekend vacations) but isn't bulky when empty. It also has a nice wide mouth making it easy to get soiled diapers inside without a mess.
Now that we're potty trained here I still stash in it my daughters back pack with her emergency clothes in case of an accident. I've also used to to transport wet bathing suits home from the pool or beach. It's big enough to hold my suit as well as my daughters no problem. |
