The Swagman Locking Hitch Pin allows you to lock bike racks, hitch covers, boat, and cargo carriers to your receiver hitch. The locking hitch pin reduces the chances that your valuable bikes and/or personal belongings will be stolen if you have to leave your car unattended during travel. This Swagman lock is a generic hitchpin lock. It is not designed for the XTC Cross Country 2-bike Hitch Mounted Carrier. The XTC requires a threaded hitch pin lock made by Swagman.

This lock was advertised as an accessory to the Swagman XC2 Bike Rack. It does not fit the rack's receiver; which is a threaded bolt.

If you have the Swagman XTC 2 and 2 inch hitch you will need the Swagman Locking Hitch Pin model # 64027 if you have the smaller hitch then you will need #64029. That's why this hitch pin doesn't work on the Swagman XTC 2. It has threads and need the Locking Pin made for it. Call the Swagman Company if you need more help.
