Katherine Millar is eighteen, and desperate for lots of things - to be thinner and less swotty, and to have cooler friends. About the Author
Kate Long was born in 1964 and spent her childhood in Lancashire. She left at eighteen to do a degree in English at Bristol university, graduating with a First and going into teaching, a job she enjoyed for fifteen years. She lives in Shropshire with her husband and two small children, and is currently writing her fourth novel.
