5.0 out of 5 stars this book is great!
I read this book a couple years ago and loved it. I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. (review by my son Seth, not Ginny)

3.0 out of 5 stars not the best
"Swamp Cat" is an involved book following two characters [both in 3rd person]. One character is a young man named Andy, who lives in the swamp by himself, and is trying to make a living. the other character is a cat named Frosty, whose experiences fill in the gaps which Andy's experiences don't cover.

i recommend this book to fans of "The Call of the Wild" by Jack London.

in the way of another Jim Kjelgaard book, i would recommend "Big Red" instead.

"Swamp Cat" is 175 pages long.

The begining is sad. Frosty, the cat, is the only one of his brothers and other baby pups and kittens that suvive the begining of this book. Frosty is taken by a man that only cares about money and gives animals to coyotes just to get a few bucks. If you are in to exciting, something is always happening kinds of books like Harry Potter, this book isn' for you. Somthing might be going on, but this book is rambly.
