I can't figure out why Mike Dowling's stuff isn't more well known. It's uplifting and relaxing and toe tapping. I play Swamp Dog Blues while I work outside. Mike's music is undiscovered and very good. No I don't know him, just happened onto his music while searching the net. Try it.

One of Dowling's best,

This is one of my favorite Mike Dowling recordings because it is so representative of his wonderful live solo performances. I mixture of blues, swing, ragtime and great vocals. This is a must have CD by a very intelligent musician. And if you like this, check out one of his live shows.
