I have read this book cover-to-cover several times. I bought the book about a year before getting my first pair of swans. I have learned so much about keeping and caring for swans. The books is a complete, comprehensive guide. There are many pictures, which adds to its usefulness. Since getting my swans, I have referred to the book. We are hoping to have our first babies in the spring. I feel I have been well-prepared for this event!

There is not a lot of material devoted entirely to keeping swans, and this experienced group of people really stepped up and created one. It's well written, answers all the basic questions and many fine points and beautifully illustrated. Thank you for this reference! I shall certainly include in my next book, How to Raise Poultry, to follow How To Raise Chickens: Everything You Need To Know (How to Raise...).

If You have swans or are considering raising or keeping swans this book is a must have. Besides caring,feeding and raising these beautiful birds, the book also explains some of their behavior patterns which we found most helpful. Also advise on how to interact without interfering with their mating and nesting process to keep them safe from predators, people etc. Highly recommend this book to all swan owners.

This was a great additional book for our library of caring for swans and ducks.

covers most anything one could ever need to know about keeping swans...does it well, in understandable language, factual and concise. Definetly a good one to have at hand!
