Stefan Solztes and the Vienna Phil: This is one great, stylish, beautiful and powerfully moving Swan Lake. It was featured in a 1980's animated film version of Swan Lake. The movements are truncated and brief but very beautiful to hear. The waltz is gorgeous, the pas de deux is graceful and the melodies are lyrical and breathtaking. Highly recommended as one's first Swan Lake recording.
