IN A NUTSHELL: WITH "SWANSON" I CAN NOW AFFORD TO TAKE ENOUGH L-CARNITINE TO ACHIEVE THERAPEUTIC BENEFITS

I have found that L-Carnitine really works for me, but I usually hesitate taking enough of this amino acid, because of the cost.

This Swanson amino acid from the "Swanson Superior Herbs" label works as well as any of the usual name brands that I would normally trust and chose first, but Swanson's costs about half. Add to that, I generally buy this specific product when Swanson is running a promotion for it, which is either "buy 1 get one free - limit 3" or 25% off, and you'll see my point. The result is this; I take the 3-4 per day one needs for a therapeutic dose, I have the piece of mind of knowing I have several bottles on my shelf, and we save quite a bit of money on something I was already using, but needed to find an affordable source for.

ABOUT BRANDS:

This particular Swanson's L-Carnitine 500mg 100 Tabs is the one I have been using for the past several years though I have used several other brands with good results. This Swanson's product is less costly, especially when Swanson runs its promos on this product which is at least 3 times per year. Also, while this is not in capsule form, this product does have a 'food glazing' which coats the tablet and seems to make it more rapidly digested.

EXPERIENCES:

I use L-Carnitine daily, in 3-4 doses between meals. Without a doubt I feel less fatigue and much less prone to exertion. I can also feel that my circulation is better and I feel less cold in my extremities. Where I use to find myself easily winded upon exertion I now seem to recover much faster from physical exertion than I use to and this has been mentioned by other people who have observed this trait in me.

My doctor suggested I take 2-4x 500mg L-Carnitine tablets a day (1-2 an hour before breakfast and lunch) to help with my dieting. I searched around and noticed how expensive L-Carnitine is, especially if you have to take close to 4 a day. Swanson gives great, quality products at a fairly inexpensive price. I highly recommend these tablets.
I would suggest to always keep unused tablets in the bottle at room temperature because since they are not coated, they may "melt" and tend to stick together if stored in a heated area. Besides that one setback, this L-Carnitine product is a great choice.

This is a very expensive supplement, but one that has given me much benefit.

It is not only a fat-burner, but also has improved my mental clarity.

Swanson sells this at the cheapest price I have found anywhere. You can probably get it even cheaper from them directly, so I would do a bit of price comparison.
