Too many errors,
By Karen Preston (NC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Swanson's Family Practice Review: A Problem-Oriented Approach, Fifth Edition (Paperback)
I'm studying for my third PA recertification exam and thought this would be a good tool to use. Unfortunately, this book has lots of mistakes, leaving me questioning what I know is correct. It has a great layout, is easy to read, and has nice summaries for each topic. But if you're unsure of the accuracy of the information, you end up going to other sources to study, which is double the work.

This review is from: Swanson's Family Practice Review: A Problem-Oriented Approach, Fifth Edition (Paperback)
This book is a very good review for Step 3. It is not enough for a score higher than 90 but you will definitely pass with just studying this book.

A nice compilation of subject areas with up to date research, treatment plans with dosing, and diagnostic modalities. You can even earn CME credit.
