As a person who has no Finance background, i have bought these financial derivative library books by Satyajit Das to help me understand the financial markets in whole. Save Your Money
Many discussions are incomplete and inaccurate. It would be best to find books that look at the individual topics of this series. Avoid like the plague.

As a person who has no Finance background, i have bought these financial derivative library books by Satyajit Das to help me understand the financial markets in whole. I have recently moved to a new role at work and my new role requires me to understand the fin. mkts in detail.
I was extremely impressed with the detail in the books and its ease in reading. I found the books very easy to understand as all concepts are illustrated in detail and in meaningful & understandable terms. Compared to other texts i have read, these books were the best without doubt. I would recommend these books unreservedly to anyone.
