I learned about this watch in an issue of Money Magazine where an article compared luxury label items to similar quality items that cost much less. In this case it was noted that Swatch owns the high end watch brand Omega, and that the Swatch Windfall looks almost identical to the $3000.00 Omega Speedmaster.

I agree, it is a very handsome watch and I have received numerous compliments on its good looks. It looks many times more expensive than the $100.00 I paid for it. If you don't require the cachet of a high end label then I highly recommend this watch.

I have own this watch since 2006. It is a good looking watch, but I have the plastic part of the wrist band broken twice now. I had it fixed twice by replacing sections of the band. Now, it has broken again. I won't have it fix any more since it will just be breaking again in about another year's time. I suggest you should consider a watch with stronger wrist band that's made with all metal parts. The plastic is just not good enough. I think it is a bad design on swatch's part.

Received as a gift; looks nice, matches anything; feels nice and heavy, crystal seems to resist scratching, although I have somehow managed to scratch the case slightly over two months of wear. All features work as advertised.

My swatch irony looks good and works well but the plastic links in the band broke twice within the two year warranty period. Swatch fixed the first two times inside the warranty. I managed to use a spare link the first time it broke just outside the warrant period but the next time it broke I didn't have any spare links but was able to find a excellent heavy duty resin band on ebay. The black plastic links seem to split at the end closest to the watch. My watch was always quite loose on my wrist so there was no undue stress on the band.

Must agree - its a great looking watch. i got this a couple of years back - could not wear it enough due to the plastic band connectors in between breaking too frequently. i am surprized how such a design flaw was overlooked. the connectors are just not good enough to be intact. does anybody know if Swatch could be contacted for a solution?

Queria aclarar que el relog no me fue entregado por culpa del hotel donde me hospede, pero si fue devuelto al remitente y este me dice que no le llego, cuando ups informa que el relog esta entregado, por ende la gente del local donde compre el relog no me devolvio la plata, luego de ponerme en contacto con ellos varias veces y no recibir ninguna respuesta satisfactoria.
Quiero dejar aclarado la mala predispocicion del vendedor del relog y la falta de credivilidad de un vendedor de un producto por medio de amazon, que no me lo esperaba.

Well, I'm 18 and before this watch all I had used were digital watches (Casio, mostly). I didn't need the alarm as I use my cell phone for this purpose, so I decided it was time to change to a classic watch. I started surfing the web in the quest to find an affordable yet good looking watch. I found it! This Swatch looks amazing, I have received many compliments on it. The feel and the weight are perfect for me and the size is great. So far I'm really happy with it.

Plus, if you let it catch some sunlight... the hands will glow in the dark! You really can't go wrong with this purchase.

The only reason why I've bought this outdated item was the aluminum case and band (as mentioned in description) . This is completely WRONG!!! Both product information and product description lie to buyers. This watch has heavy stainless steel case and band.
Amazon should not provide its marketplace to sellers, who are not able to describe their products correctly!!!

After a while using it I noticed the rubber part of the band was broken so I needed to change. The rest of the wacth is nice.

I've owned several Swatches since the Jellyfish in the mid 80's. This has been my favorite and most expensive. I'll just get to the negative points on this watch: 1) the rubber/plastic links easily break (within 6 months for me) which cost me over $40 to get a new band, and 2) the hands to the minute and hour chrono are not lined up true.

My next Swatch-family purchase will be a Tissot.
