Personally, I love it, and use it for shaving.

This razor is huge. At least 3 times of the weight compared to normal straight razor, so it is heavy. The built quality is also pretty good. It is sharp but not shave ready kinda of sharp. I will rate this razor with a 1 star and a 5 stars at the same time, and here are the reasons:

1 stars because this razor doesn't have a hollow ground blade, and in case you don't know what the hell a hollow ground blade is, a hollow ground blade has 2 main functions: 1, hollow ground makes the blade lighter and thinner. 2, hollow ground is easier for honing. (Most straight razors are Hollow grounded)

5 stars because the metal of the blade is actually made out of 1045 carbon stainless steel which is a much better steel for making blades, much better than those cheap 440 stainless steel. I have took less than 30 minute honing it down to a shave ready edge, and it shaves very well but because it is NOT HOLLOW Ground, It is extremely difficult to hone it down to that edge. You need at least 5 years of skill and a nice expensive fine stone to do this.

It can be used to shaving only if you have 5 years honing experience and a nice expensive stone, and because most dude doesn't get that, this is a 1 star useless garbage to most people, for this razor is not good for using as a knife because there is no locking blade mechanism.

Personally, I love it, and use it for shaving.

I bought 2 of these razors to use with my sweeney todd cosplay. And as props, they are very intricate and the detail is spectacular, not exact but since when are replicas ever exact? And for the price, they were a great buy. I will say this, they are not toy's or really tools for that matter. They are sharp (in every context of the word) props. I love them. But if you are looking into buying these razors to use as razors, you can but I would say look around and see what else you can find. But as props:THESE ARE AMAZING!

after being horrified with the sweeney todd costume, let me say that this is the hightlight of my holloween, a great blade and good quality, i have been cut a few times, but no doubt my own fault i recomend this to anyone searching for sweeney todd razors! :)

This is a strange product, one one hand it's really too sharp to be a toy or a Halloween prop, but then again it's not really sharp enough to shave with.

I wanted this as a prop for a Sweeney Todd costume and while it looked good and sturdy I decided not to take it with me to the party since it was too sharp and potentially dangerous around drunk people :).

Right now I'm using it as a fancy letter opener, but the lack of a lock makes it rather hard to use for much else (doesn't really work for sharpening pencils or cutting tougher material.)

Overall, I'd say look around for another tool, unless you really need a Sweeney Todd knife.
