Undercover Agent, starring Russell Gleason and the beautiful Shirley Deane, is a delightful comedic mystery story that's evocative of the lawless west at the tail end of the Depression. Undercover Agent has the expected fast pace and action of its contemporaries, but what sets it appart is the supporting role of J.M. Kerrigan (Gone with the Wind). Kerrigan plays a hilarious drunk who aspires to be a actor, and steals every scene.
