Great, differant gift,

Someone gave this gift to me at my baby shower, it was my first child. At first I just thought of it as nothing 'that special'. When I really started to examine this gift, I realized how 'very' special it was!
We all get the baby clothes and all the other things we need. This gift is really a future gift for your child when they are grown up. I had so much fun putting it together. You have 1 year from baby birth to 1st bday to put all info into it. Anything and everything that happened during babies 1st year that you would want him/her to know and appriciate. (Hit songs you liked, or popular songs, bill's you paid for cable or energy bill's..anything that shows the cost of things when he/she was born... paycheck stubs, pics of family and friends, trends, history making news, cost of living, anything you want. Personal notes from family and friends, ANYTHING that you feel worthy that your child would appriciate in the future. I wrote my son a letter, mailed it to the house we were living in at the time, ( so it would have, and show the stamp and post mark)when he can open it in the year 2031. He will be 30 years old then. I thought at 30 he would appriciate it more. This gift is great to give for a close family member, or ANY baby shower gift. Every baby shower I go to, this is the gift I give. |
