We were fortunate enough to enjoy Jim's wonderful cooking during our recent visit. Sweet Beginnings has allowed us to closely replicate the tasty morning treats that we ate at The Inn on First. We just got this collection of recipes and we've already made the scones and the granola bars and they turned out wonderfully! We also brought some of them into work and received high praise from our coworkers. The cooklet is well-written and the recipes are easy to follow.

Jim did a great job with this book. Not only are the recipes yummy, but most come with gluten free alternatives! This is very important for those of us who want to experience the great tastes from a great Bed and Breakfast, but who also have celiac disease or gluten intolerance. The only thing I regret is that he doesn't have more books to offer us as yet.

Have made the scones 4 times since receiving the book and will be attempting more receipes. The receipes are easy to follow that anyone can make.I also have a sister-in-law who requires gluten-free items. Cannot wait for her to visit, so I can try them for her to enjoy. I truly hope Jim does come out with more books.
