This is a near a near perfect song. It has great lyrics and with the amazing guitar rifts it has great music. This is not to heavy but still sounds like a proper rock song. It is pure magic and a must have in any collection and a must have.

We have worn out three cassette tapes and four CD's over 24 years.
This band is what kept my now husband of 23 years and I connected during times, and for various reasons we could not be together.
A music lover should be able to take lyrics and give those meanings relating to their own life, helping you cope with the trials and tribulations. Guns and Roses have seen us through some rough and happy times.
So many "music lovers" complain about the length of time between albums and/or the life band members live. This is very frustrating because a true artist can only put something together as it comes. True magic leaves one with an impression through life, such as Axel Rose and Slash gave us when they were sounding it out. What ever became of Axel Rose is his business and his alone. Stories continue even long after the last song together was sung.
All I have to say to others....listen to the music and make it mean something to you. This duo Illusions one and two, will keep your memories and let you share them with your children. We have six kids, 29, 26, 22, 19, 17, and 13, can sing the lyrics as if they were released in their own generation, and if you ask them, it is all about Mom and Dad.
Thanks forever Axel and Slash and the rest of the band, you have given us so many memories, kind of like a family heirloom, we pass them down generation to generation.

If you don't like this song, you have no soul. There's really nothing else to say except three more words so I can post this.

Hard to believe that it has been 25 years since Guns N' Roses burst onto the music scene, and they had more than they ever realized with their music out into the scene. While the group has changed dramatically since Axl Rose, Slash and company have departed, what they did make was hard and heavy music. Their song Sweet Child O' Mine remains a classic 25 years after it originally came out. It still connects with its very hard and heavy sound. That is something today that stands shoulders taller than most other artists out there right now. If you have never heard a Guns N' Roses song before, than this would absolutely be a smart place to start, by downloading this to your music library.

I remember the first time that I heard "Sweet Child O' Mine". And I loved it! Who was this band? I had to find out. There have only been a few songs that I just loved and this was one of them. I just had to have the album. I love music but there have only been a few songs that made me just have to have the album even if there was only one song on it that I loved. Glad there was more than one on this album. I mentioned this as being one of a few songs that I just had to have, some others were "Change It" by Stevie Ray Vaughan, "Hard Times In The Land Of Plenty" by Omar and the Howlers and "Gypsy Blood" by Mason Ruffner. These three had great albums, not just one song.

My SON dedicated this song to his 5 year old daughter in 2007.
He was killed in a house fire in 2009.
She still remembers & downloaded it as her ringtone on her phone.
She treasures that memory & always will.
I am grateful for that.
Thank you, Guns & Roses!

I love this song and the quality of it is AWESOME. It reminds me of my early teens and a much simpler, carefree time. All of the music that I've purchased through Amazon has been exceptional quality. Very easy to find what you are looking for and easy to purchase. Highly recommend!!

Driving along, windows open, wind blowing, the dog with its head lulling in the wind and Sweet Child O'Mine playing loudly -- the song is a classic and perfect for the open road. Even better, it was free from Amazon when we got it.

It is a must for any music collection. Fact.
