Another great book featuring the Eaton family. Myles Eaton and Zabrina Cooper fell in love and were engaged to be married. Two weeks before the wedding she is blackmailed to marry another man to save her Father's life. 10 years later she is a widow and her dad has also died. She meets Myles again at his sister's upcoming wedding and sparks happen betweem them again. When the truth comes out on why she married another man and another secret is revealed that she kept from him, will love happen for them the second time around? Great story!

Zabrina Cooper and Myles Eaton had known each other since they were kids, so it was no surprise that their relationship turned romantic and plans for marriage were soon to come. Neither Zabrina nor Myles could ready themselves for the sham that would tear the two apart in Rochelle Alers' Sweet Deception.

Zabrina loved her father dearly; he raised her alone after the death of her mother. So when she walked in on what seemed to be a death threat from Councilman Cooper, along with blackmail if Isaac, Zabrina's father, would not keep his mouth shut about what he had seen. Zabrina consented to marry the councilman so that her father would live and ultimately broke off her engagement to Myles.

10 years would go by before Zabrina and Myles would see each other again. So much had taken place, and yet there was something that would always tie Zabrina and Myles together that she would keep a secret along with the reason why she called off the wedding.

I enjoyed the initial relationship and exchange between the characters, but I had a hard time with why it took so long for things to be revealed. Aside from that, I still recommend this book to readers of romance.

I'm ENJOYING the Eaton series...the journey to discover if Myles and Zabrina will recapture their love is SIMPLY wonderful...Myles is a strong, loving, protective and EXTREMELY forgiving man...and Zabrina is a VERY lucky lady...looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Loved the story between Myles and Zabrina who have loved each other since childhood and a secret tore them apart before they could start their lives together, after 10 years they run into each other at his sister wedding and the secret is revealed you will see them move past the hurt and fall in love again. Great book

I need more, this book was lacking something. I love this writer and have all but one of her other works but this was a snore to me. The main character female made me angry. So easily intimidated. Why on earth did it take her so long to share the truth with the man she claimed to love?

This story was so far from reality....I loved it. This story was a true romantic tale that die-hard romance fans will enjoy. This was a true romantic fantasy of picking up the pieces of a love you thought was lost to you. I really enjoyed the first installment of the Eaton's storyline and couldn't wait for the next one, I was not disappointed. The Eaton family has engaging characters and I can't wait for the next siblings' story.

Every book that I have ever read by Rochelle Alers has been awesome. This book did not disappoint. I was actually sad when I got to the end, which came quickly. I read this book in a day and wanted it to continue desperately! Another great Rochelle.

Myles Eaton is engaged and planning to marry his sweetheart, Zabrina Cooper. Two weeks before the nuptials were to be exchanged, Zabrina left him to wed another man. Years later, they meet again at Myles's sister's wedding. Upon seeing one another, both realize they are unable to resist their attraction and the passion they once shared. With only the summer together, Myles must decide if he will be able to forgive her for her betrayal and Zabrina must decide whether to reveal the truth about her past.

SWEET DECEPTION by Rochelle Alers was a delightful read. While she focused on the love story of Myles and Zabrina, she also interweaved the importance of family togetherness. She introduced characters that were witty and charming. Her romantic scenes were sensual and told with sexiness and passion. This was a quick read that kept my interest until the end.

Zabrina and Myles were good friends and later lovers. They were about to marry and suddenly......? This is a story about love, loss and redemption. I learned a lesson from this, feelings you considered to be over may be buried deep inside because of hurt, betrayal or some other circumstance. There are times when love can be better the second time around. Sometimes we let our anger overrule our hearts instead of weighing the pros and cons. Read the story, it may give you something to think about!!

This is the second book in the Eaton Series. Myles & Zabrina was once engaged to be married, and 2 weeks before they was to be married Zabrina call and told Myles that she was in love with another man, for Myles all he could do was to hang up the phone. After reading in the paper that Zabrina had secretly married Thomas Cooper. Myles knew that in order for him to be able to move on he would have to leave and start over. Myles was so in love with Zabrina that he never go over it.

Zabrina did the one things she vowed never to do and that was to break Myles heart but she did it any way once she spoke with her father. Her father saw something that he wasn't suppose to see and in order to keep in line Thomas Cooper had set him up and blackmailed him and to make sure he kept Zabrina father in line he threaten to kill him if he ever told anybody what he saw and since Thomas need a wife to spruce up his image in the public eye so Thomas blackmailed Zabrina to marrying him although it was in name only.

Rochelle weave her way through this book to give the once engaged couple a second chance but to also introduce Myles to the son he never knew he had. At the time Zabrina was blackmailed into marrying Thomas she had just found out that she was pregnant and was going to Myles that night but she never was given the chance.

This is a great book and to see that after 10 years loves still prevail and for Myles & Zabrina the love the felt so long ago will still there and stronger then ever.

This book is HOT and you will enjoy it.
