Sweet Dreams, April 23, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Sweet Dreams (Paperback)
As quoted by the review in the "411" column in the newspaper the Daily Republic, ..."Let's face it: books that cater to young males are not in plentiful supply. So if you fit this description and are looking for a good read, pick up a copy of C.J. LeDoux's "Sweet Dreams." The lead character, Dalton, is a good kid with a knack for getting into sticky situations. When he and his friend Joey accidentally become part of an international car smuggling ring, they've got to try their best to get out of it unscathed. And this isn't Dalton's only problem-he's got a serious crush on Amelia, a girl with a jealous boyfriend. "Sweet Dreams" is full of action and suspense, but at the same time examines the emotions and thoughts of the main characters."

Wonderful coming of age story, March 19, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Sweet Dreams (Paperback)
I had the wonderful opportunity to read this book before it went to press. It is a great coming of age story, featuring very real teenagers dealing with very real issues while racing some very cool cars. I recommend this for anyone, but particularly for teenage boys and car enthusiasts. C.J. LeDoux's debut novel does not disappoint.
