I have been anticipating this new collection of recipes from Allyson Kramer for months! I love her previous gluten free vegan books - Great Gluten-Free Vegan Eats: Cut Out the Gluten and Enjoy an Even Healthier Vegan Diet with Recipes for Fabulous, Allergy-Free Fare and Great Gluten-Free Vegan Eats From Around the World: Fantastic, Allergy-Free Ethnic Recipes - tremendously. I have enjoyed such success with those two cookbooks that I just knew a baking book by Allyson would also be superb. And I wasn't wrong to think so.

I was so excited yesterday when I knew my book would arrive in the mail, I had my oven pre-heating while waiting for my mailman to make the delivery!

I am a fool for Bundt cakes and I went directly to that chapter and immediately banged out her Apple Bundt cake. It was so darn good, I made a second one to give away. And they loved it too! (And they are not vegan with gluten problems).

While my cake was baking I sat down and took more time reading this exciting book. I'm the type who loves to read cookbooks from cover to cover and yes, this one is really exciting to me.

I was blessed at birth with a grandma who was a professional chef and rather than being born with a silver spoon in my mouth, I was born with one of Grandma's measuring spoons there. With her guidance I have been a baker since I was ten years old and to this day there is nothing I love to do more than bake.

This cookbook has it all, everything I've ever wanted to make. The photos are beautiful and there is so much information included. I am so happy. It is such a relief to know that after you buy the ingredients, put forth the effort, your dessert will not only look amazing but be delicious! I am completely satisfied. I've been vegan for 10 years now and gluten free for about 3 and baking has been a challenge; so much that I gave up on it. I'm so glad I found Allyson Kramer! With this book I feel like I've been given the keys to the kingdom! She is literally a gluten free vegan goddess! I am set for life now, this book will be my go to book for all desserts!

I always look forward to reading Allyson Kramer's writing, whether through a blog or cookbook recipe and this book does not disappoint! She is so well spoken, but very down-to-earth and real, so it feels as if she is with me in the kitchen! Her background in Fine Arts is also very evident in the beautiful photography that inspires me to recreate her edible masterpieces.

Once again, Bravo and Bon Appétit!
