Grade 3–5—Keith Emerson is being blamed for passing some pretty raunchy gas in his classroom. To make matters worse, he's been given a new nickname, "S.B.D." (Silent But Deadly), by the student body. This moniker inspires Keith to come up with a pretty unique science fair project that will, hopefully, find a cure for the foul smell of the common fart, something American Statesman Benjamin Franklin attempted over 200 years earlier. Narrator Nick Podehl does a superb job of bringing this production to life, creating unique and entertaining voices. This humorous, albeit somewhat crude story, will appeal to reluctant readers and fans of the popular Captain Underpants
series who are looking for something both silly and fun.—Amy Joslyn, Fairport Public Library, NY

"I never thought I'd be the sort of mom to buy a book called Sweet Farts for my child. I never thought I'd invest in a series called Dumb Bunnies. I recently purchased both for Christmas." -Susan Carpenter LA Times
This is an easy reading, high interest, fast paced chapter book that could also be used for struggling readers similar to the Wimpy Kids and Catpain Underpants series.-Best Seller World blog review by Teri Davis
The day we received the set my son was super excited! He started reading right away - and instantly he was hooked. Seeing as he had read all of the Captain Underpants and Wimpy Kid books it was great to see him excited about a new fiction title. -Pretty Pink Momma blog review
Even my "girly girl" thought the Sweet Farts books were hysterical. It did not take her long to read all three, and I even caught her sneaking the first one to school as apparently she was already lending it to her best friend. - Moscato Mom blog review
As a mom the book held many fabulous lessons from dealing with pressure at school to the amazing ability kids have to make a difference in our world. It also covers basic scientific method in such a way that you don't even realize you're getting a bit of a science lesson as you go. But over all its a fun, inspiring read. - Oh Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy blog review
You won't even know you're reading it's like a movie or a great dream! My point is this book is so perfect and funny for reading that it's not a book! It's better, like a movie! Or a fairytale! Anyway, you gotta get this book. Don't waist your time thinking, while you could be enjoying and laughing along with this outstanding book. Enjoy!!!
