This was my first Catherine Hart, and it was really more funny than romantic. Sammie's accent also was so annoying. I wish it could have been 100 percent changed after her lessons. Also, I know that this book was written in 1990, but some of the stuff that was supposed to be funny was just corny. Travis was also a bit rude. I would have punched him for some of the things he said to Sam, like saying she'll get fat if she ate a slice of pie when she was pregnant. He treated her like a child sometimes, no wonder she was so mad. But I will try another book by Hart.

This was the very first romance novel I ever read, and it will always be my favorite. I haven't since found an author who can write with the kind of intelligence and humor that Catherine Hart does. Her stories are always funny and captivating, her characters sympathetic and likeable. Hart has a way of writing that draws you into the story with the first few words and keeps you enthralled to the end. Sweet Fury is the best example of her writing I have found. Plenty of writers could learn a lot from her work. If you want to read a truly sweet, funny, exciting, smart romance book with interesting characters and exciting situations, I HIGHLY recommend buying this book and making it a part of your library. You won't regret it.

This is wonderful book. I have read MANY romance novels over the years, and this is one of the best. This was not only a romantic story, but a funny one. I laughed out loud time and again. I love Ms. Hart's leading women, because they have spunk. Buy this book, you'll love it.

this was my first romance novel, and all I can say is WOW!! this is one of the best romance novels that I have read, and it shall forever remain that way! Anyone looking at this, BUY THIS BOOK!! I mean it. You will love it to the death.
