We enjoy homemade iced tea - the type kind served at family restaurants throughout the south - but it is nearly impossible to find sweet tea served in Oregon. So, when we came across the Sweet Leaf Tea Company, we had to give it a try. This is the best sweet tea available in bottles.
The ingredients are wonderfully simple: Carbon Filtered Water, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Black Tea, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), and Citric Acid. Take notice that high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) isn't on the list. My wife and I will split a bottle, served over cracked ice, with a dinner of spicy, grilled meat or chicken. The tea's sweetness contrasts well with roasted garlic, onion and peppers. I recommend you pair Sweet Leaf with Sriracha Spicy Buffalo Wings (the recipe is included with my review of Huy Fong Sriracha Chili Sauce). Rating: five stars.

I've tried many different bottled iced teas and this is the best by far. It has just the right amount of sweetness, natural ingredients, and no high fructose corn syrup. It is less expensive to buy the 12 pack from Amazon than it is to buy the individual bottles in the grocery store. The bottle and case packaging is all recyclable, which is a bonus.

I am Southern, born and bred, so any bottled tea is kind of off but this one is fairly on the mark for good. The way tea is prepared in my area is 3 family sized bags (I prefer Lipton) and 1 and 1/2 cup sugar per gallon. LOL, this little bottle of "sweet" tea ain't too sweet. I thought the flavor was good and I would recommend it to anyone who can't get to a tall cold glass of the real stuff.

I bought this tea because I wanted something to replace sodas. I really liked the taste and it is very convenient. I like the fact that there isn't a lot of stuff add in to preserve it so it is very much like the tea I would make at home.

I love this tea and will continue to order it. it's not to sweet and when served chilled, it's wonderful. I drink this tea instead of soda.

Great product. Need to find bigger containers. My target used to carry them, but now only the little bottles. I run out to fast. :)

It's amazing how many sweet tea products on store shelves these days are either partially or completely sweetened with high-fructose corn syrup.
Even those that say "sweetened with real sugar" often include the not-so-real high-fructose corn syrup in their products. That makes Sweet Leaf Tea one of the few that doesn't, and you can taste the difference. Look no further than the ingredients for the explanation: filtered water, organic cane sugar, black tea, and citric acid. I'm fine putting those ingredients into my body -- and my taste buds don't complain, either.

This is a good iced tea, but it is REALLY sweet. Pay attention to the label- it is not iced tea that is sweetened, it is SWEET tea! It's a bit strong for my taste, though when chilled it can be a nice treat on a hot summer day. I've tried several varieties and all are pleasant. Try the peach!

Growing up in the South I love some sweet tea, but this just dissappoints. I really wanted to like it, especially because of the convenience of single serve bottles. I thought maybe I just got one bad bottle, but tried several. It tasted like tea that had been sitting out and had gone bad.

Ok tea. It is not classic southern sweet tea like I was hoping. Differences: It tastes like it was sweetened with honey instead of sugar, and even though the label does not say "with lemon" there is definitely some lemony flavor (which is annoying to those of us who dislike lemon in tea). But it's at least equal to any other bottled tea I've encountered, I suppose.
