Outstanding Debut CD, March 30, 2007

After having been with the group Avalon for several years, Cherie has released her first solo CD. It's a wonderful collection of soulful uptempo numbers and ballads where Cherie shares her faith. Her clear, strong and balanced voice is evident in all of the selections, but I think that when she uses the soft hues of her voice, like on the ballad "Hazel Eyes", she really shines. My favorite selections are the title track "The Sweet Life", "You Move Heaven", and "Hazel Eyes". Great debut effort. You can't go wrong by buying this CD.
