Sweet and unusual,

A MAN OF POWERWealth and ambition had taken David Kimbrough into the highest circles of British Political power. Born into privilege, he was used to getting what he wanted, whenever he wanted it. A WOMAN OF PASSION Unconventional and unbending, Beautiful Julia Sydney fought for the women's vote with blind determination. Arrests, beatings, and hunger strikes couldn't break her, but she had one weakness - David Kimbrough, a man who opposed her will, thwarted her cause, and stole her very soul. A CLASH OF WILLS...AND HEARTS In a tumoultous turn-of -the-century England where women marched in the streets and men tried to stop them, Julia and David were bitter rivals and secret lovers. Public knowledge of their liason could ruin them both, but their private moments were burning out of control, leaving them torn between all they believed in and all the needed - each other. All in all a very worthwhile read with strong characters, an unusual setting and a moving love story! |
