Another fine compilation from Trojan Records.This disc is a companion to the cd entitled "Rivers of Babylon",the name of their most popular song.Anyone who loves vocal group Reggae will love this disc and it's companion.Both discs are chock full of fine songs sung in the reggae style popularized in the late 60's and early 70's.That means they are great,in my opinion.Anyone familiar with the soundtrack to the movie "The Harder They Come" knows what I mean("Rivers Of Babylon" also appears on that disc).The sound of this disc is fine,considering the age of the songs.The liner notes are also decent.In my view,Trojan Records has been doing a great job with it's compilations in recent years and I hope they keep up the good work.I would recommend this disc and it's companion to anyone interested in Reggae from this period.Enjoy this disc.I did.

I chose this cd because I wanted the remastered sound. I wasn't disappointed. The sound is fantastic. The bass is pronounced in the usual reggae style, but the overall effect is clear and detailed.

The Melodians have been one of my favorite reggae groups since discovering the genre in the 90's. Sweet Sensation is a beautiful song that I never tire of. The entire album is enjoyable and is uplifting with wonderful harmonies and timeless lyrics.
