This is another great Bobby Timmons album. On "Sweet And Soulful Sounds" Timmons is joined by Sam Jones on bass and Roy McCurdy on drums. What a swinging little album this is! If you're a fan of Bobby Timmons, then you should definitely get this recording.

*Special note* This album is NOT out-of-print. You can find it through Concord Records website and purchase it there.

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful By Walter P. Kramer on August 5, 2001
Format: Audio CD
This early recording of Bobby Timmons is maybe what not you expect with his backing of the giant Cannonball Anderly but it is a delight. He is stylish, improvisionist, and mixed well known standards with his own and the results blend quite nicely. I have always wanted his own recording for all thses years and discovered this one one day and have never tired of ejoying it.
