5.0 out of 5 stars all books by Ms. Terry are good
I have read every book by Ms. Terry and her latest is one of my faves. The story line leaves us with questions, but knowing her, I have a feeling she will continue with this story in some form or another. I first meet this auther in the three short stories of "Big Spankable Asses." All of her books are sexy and steamy and I fall in love with all of her characters.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good book if your looking for sex, no plot
I mean don't get me wrong, the scenes are steamy enough to fog up your glasses, but that's it. The plot was sorta out there and all over the place and left me with a lot of questions. Like where Demetri's partner really ran off to? whatever happened to the secretary that was going to get revenge? Other than that I mean its not a horrible book but it's missing essential...

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible..., July 10, 2010
This review is from: The Sweet Spot (Paperback)
This book is TERRIBLE!!! There is no dialogue between characters. I believe it wasn't until the second chapter where Gabby actually engages in somewhat of a conversation with a character you know nothing about until Gabby starts to think back AGAIN. When the author attempts to give you a history of the characters it comes across choppy(bits and pieces).

***Spoiler Alert****
There is one part in the book where Gabby tries to dominate Sweet...PATHETIC!!!

How do you write a book and all the characters do is think? Please don't waste your money like I did.

3.0 out of 5 stars SEX HOT>>>PLOT NOT, March 30, 2010
This review is from: The Sweet Spot (Paperback)
This is my first book by Ms. Terry. I give her kudos for the sex scenes but.....the rest of the book was just ok. The opening pages of the book when Sweet and Gaby first meet are scorching. However, I found myself having to plow through the rest of the book. Don't get me wrong, the book was not boring. As, I stated the sex scenes were great. The rest of the plot, however, without the sex was merely mediocre. I won't discount Ms. Terry as a good writer. I just hope the next book I read by her has more to offer than just the sex. Any suggestions?

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet, August 27, 2009

When I saw the title of Kim's book "The Sweet Spot" I didn't figure she was referring to the name of several club own by Demetri and he is an ALPHA MAN.

Gabrielle returns home early from a conference out of town and when she got home she was the one who was surprise. She caught her boyfriend in her bed with his secretary, and trust once Gaby confronted Adam (the boyfriend) it was not pretty. Gaby said enough is enough she wasn't going to let her boyfriend take or play her for a fool. So Gaby left and went to The Sweet Spot to have a drink to try and make her feel good Gaby had decided she was going to have some fun and relax, and when she met Sweet the owner of the club. Gaby set her sight on owner she made it know that she was up for some fun although Gaby has never done anything like this in her life. If you remember that move with Sharon Stone and she was sitting in a chair in the integration room and she cross and uncross her leg and gave the illusion that she didn't have on any panties then picture Gaby doing the same thing to Sweet at the bar..................when I tell you hot hot hot believe it.

Needless to say that when Demetri invited Gaby up to his room and yes she was nervous but Sweet calm her nerve real fast. There first was intense, magical, hot and off the chain.

Demetri is an ex FBI Agent who was asks by his former boss to help bring down two con artists, Demetri form a plan in his head as to how he will get Gabrielle to trust him, for Demetri this is just a job with the promise of his former boss that he would look for Demetri ex partner. For Demetri he decided to use any mean necessary to bring down these two con artists. Once Demetri get to know Gaby her realize that she is not a con artist she is a women with a heart who has stolen his. After there first encounter Gaby left without saying good bye and when they finally saw each other again it has been 2 weeks now for Sweet he couldn't get Gaby out of his head and heart he realize that he need to change his plan cause she when he think she will have her begging for him the situation change and he is the one that in us begging and can't get enough of her.

I can't give too much away but this book has love, mystery and SIMPLY DELICIOUS LOVE SCENE........

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet & Spicy, January 9, 2012

The Sweet Spot was a good read. The way Gaby gets Sweet's attention initially was very naughty. It makes me happy that I can read these kinds of stories because it just feeds the imagination. The sex scenes were hot. The story was well told, had some suspense, and a little humor. I dug it. If you're on the fence about buying the book, just go for it. This author always writes good stories. You won't be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars I did it for the nookie, August 18, 2011
This review is from: The Sweet Spot (Paperback)
Kimberly Kaye Terry is talented hands down, but she's the goddess of a good sex scene and The Sweet Spot was filled with the stuff that nookie is made of. As a lover of chocolate really, I found myself flipping through the pages of this book hoping to run into another hot scene. Has anyone ever thought of putting her stuff on late night Cinemax. It's smoking hot. The book was a good read but the sex made it a great read. I just picked up her latest book, To Love a Wilde, and I'm hoping for the same raw passion. It takes a real author to write like this. So, if you're missing out a date for Friday night, go to the book store, pick up Terry and call it a freaking night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Only 5 Stars to Give, September 15, 2010
This review is from: The Sweet Spot (Paperback)
KKT did an amazing job with this book. I am a serious cop lover. I love to read about amazing sexy cops and the undercover in this book is hot in all ways that that word can be twisted. When the book first opens there is a sex scene that makes Friday nights alone seem okay. I tell you what though if you read it you won't be alone on Saturday night. I had to go prowling after I read this one. It was all that. I wish that I could give this book more than 5 stars. It was written well, it was hot and steamy and it was everything this genre of book should be.

STORY BRIEF:
Gaby grew up in foster care. She runs a community pharmacy providing medicine to people who can't afford it. The FBI believes that she and Adam, her boyfriend, are running a con with Medicaid and drugs. Demetri used to be an FBI agent but now owns a nightclub called The Sweet Spot. His nickname is Sweet. Gaby and Adam frequently go to The Sweet Spot. Demetri's former boss Nick asks a favor. He wants Demetri to get close to Gaby to get evidence against her and Adam. Demetri agrees because Nick offers to do him a favor in return.

Gaby comes home early from work and discovers Adam having sex with his secretary in her bed. In her anger and needing some revenge she goes to The Sweet Spot alone, hoping to connect with someone. Demetri is happy to comply and takes her to his home above the night club for the night. They have an amazing connection and a lot of sex. Adam wants to get back together with Gaby but she won't have him. She continues seeing Demetri.

REVIEWER'S OPINION (WITH VAGUE SPOILERS):
There is a lot of explicit sex, with rear door activity and whip lashing. The story was pretty good but a few parts could have been better developed. Lee has a small book that is introduced but not explained how it fits into the story. How Adam and his partner were making money from the con could have been better described as well as their history and relationship. I was not happy with Gaby doing something illegal, even though she had a sympathetic motive. She's the heroine but will have to pay a price. Other than that it was a pretty good story. The author's writing style kept me interested.

DATA:
Story length: 238 pages. Swearing language: strong. Sexual language: strong/erotic. Number of sex scenes: 15, some of them several pages long. Setting: current day San Antonio, Texas. Copyright: 2009. Genre: erotic contemporary romance.
