5.0 out of 5 stars A tooth with an Attitude!!!
In this funny book a boy has a tooth with a mind of its own! All it wants is sweets! The boy gets in trouble because his sweet tooth keeps yelling out demands for candy and cookies.
Charming and cute with great illustrations. Even though its recommended for children
5-8 my 3 year old enjoyed it.

In the book Sweet Tooth by Margie Palatini the characters are

Stewart, Sweet Tooth, tooth fairy and Stewart's sister. The

I read this book several times to my 3 year old daughter, she CRACKED UP every time. I'm not sure she understood every word of it, but she was certainly entertained by it! TIP: if you make an obnoxious, crazed voice for the tooth, its all the better!

Sweet Tooth
Review by Grace Montgomery
Book by Margie Palatini

Have you ever not been in control? Well Stewart has. He hasn't been in control over sweets because he has a sweet tooth. But it's no ordinary sweet tooth. This tooth talks and is incredibly rude. The tooth interferes with everything. First a wedding, then school! Read this book to find out what happens next
in... Sweet Tooth!

The lesson I learned in this book is that you are able to take control when things get hard.

I would recommend this book to people who need to learn they can take control.

My opinion on this book is that: it's fun to read, and it has funny parts, I think you will enjoy Sweet Tooth!

My girls loved this book so much we bought it for their cousin. They have a sweet tooth and really identified with the book. It's very silly. We bought a used version and it was in great shape.

This book is a must read! It is a humorous story about a boy and his loud tooth who has an insatiable appetite for sweets. I have read this book to a variety of ages 3-6 year-olds and their parents and everyone has enjoyed this book.

Sweet Tooth is a great book. I am a substitute teacher and I bring to any classroom third grade and lower. Students love to discover that the tooth is not sweet in a nice way, but instead just loves sugar. All kids can identify with the love of sweets! Extension lessons could involve nutrition, hygiene, types of teeth, omnivores/herbivores/carnivores, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Our 3rd Graders Love this Book!, May 4, 2008

Blah Blah Blah enough with the yackin I need a candy bar pronto. I'm fall'n asleep here come on move along gramps cut the cake. I'm dying here for a couple of peanut butter cups.
What was happening to Stewart? He seems like your average boy except for one thing... read Sweet Tooth by Margie Palatini and find out.
Stewart had a normal life. He had a mom, a dad and sister but he had one un-normal family member. His name was Sweet Tooth. He lived in the back of Stewart's mouth. You're probably thinking: a sweet tooth big deal! Oh, but this sweet tooth can talk. Yes, it's true a talking tooth, a very demanding talking tooth. This tooth was the reason that Stewart was on the ground with all the Easter candy wrappers around him. He was also responsible for Stewart's 432 detention slips. One day sweet tooth pushes him too far and Stewart goes on a diet of greens.
Will Stewart conquer sweet tooth or will Stewart live a life of candy and sweets? Maybe find out your self. I recommend this book to kids 5-10 or all ages if you're a care free kid. This story teaches you that if you are told to do something you don't have to do it. Hope you enjoy the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Sweet Book!, May 2, 2008

We love Margie Palatini! Sweet Tooth is another hit from this hilarious author of children's picture books. I gave this book to my son when he lost his first tooth and he loved it. It is laugh out loud funny and a treat to read for kids and grown ups alike. The epic struggle between good and bad foods for kids and the effect they have on teeth is a subtle lesson that is presented so humorously, kids don't even know they are learning something as they laugh along with this book. A sweet treat to read!
