About the Author

Rabbi Arnold Goodman has been the spiritual leader of Congregation Ahavath Achim in Atlanta, Georgia, for eighteen years. He was ordained in 1952 from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He is a past president of the Rabbinical Assembly, the 1100-member organization of Conservative rabbis in the United States, Canada, Israel, and other parts of the world. Rabbi Goodman resides in Atlanta with his family.

I was sorely disappointed with this book. The so-called "prayers" are obviously written by an adult and would be difficult for any child to access. They are in "stream of consciousness" so that a child would never be able to memorize it, or even read it themselves. (...)
