This was one of my favorite books growing up. Lauremce Yep's thoughtful tale of a human boy whose simple life on a distant world is shattered by the appearance of an native alien who not only opens his eyes to the reality of prejudice but also shows him the courage to defend and be proud of the most important things in his life, especially his family.Get this book for you young teen, and they will thank you for it.
