Swell Striped Fabric Shower Curtain

I bought this shower curtain when it first came out last year. I got everything, the martini girl silhouette liner, shower hooks, the pool blue round bathmats with the rainbow striped piping and bow, the bath pillow, striped towels, funky patterned towels, and the pink and blue solid towels, all by Swell. I even bought sunny yellow ceramic Target bath accessories, just not the Swell brand. (I was leary of the stained glass pieces because I can be klutzy and they are obviously breakable) I have loved all of it! I liked the fact that it was not just a trend item that Target displayed for a couple of months and then phased put. I have been able to pick up other new pieces added this year, such as the pink, green, and blue towel set with the round mirrored dots. Most of the the accessories they offered have been updated, since my initial purchase a year and a 1/2 ago, but that has given me the opportunity to freshen up my bathroom's look. The only problem I had was with the mats (I have 2) because the cute striped bows popped off almost immediately and the first time I washed them the blue faded and the ribboned trim colors ran on each other. I also noticed that this mat is no longer sold in stores. My favorite piece was this curtain. It still looks new after hundreds of showers and the fabric is very durable and strong for the money. Great for men or women, boys or girls, from 8 to 80!

I live with my boyfriend and I'd been trying to replace our old curtain since last fall. Every time I would find something cute, he would veto, saying, "too girly!" or "too see-through!" (He is also paranoid about people seeing him naked in the shower.) But when I saw this curtain, I had the feeling that it would be just what we needed. The colors are fabulous - cheery and bright for my morning shower - but the pattern isn't too feminine. And the clear panel is only at the top, so my boyfriend doesn't feel too exposed. He doesn't have any objections to this curtain, and I love it. The fabric is heavy-duty; no complains on the workmanship. Also, with the many different colors (red, pink, pale blue, lavender, yellow, green, navy, etc.) in the print, it's easy to find accessories to match, if you don't want to buy the ones at Target and be all matchy-matchy. I found some gorgeous glass accessories in yellow, green and white to accent it. All in all, a great product! I lust after the whole "Swell" line, though -- getting such style and value is why I love to shop at Target.

I use a clear liner behind it and painted my son's bath in the blue color... I get lots of complements on this bath set....

I had the same problem, so I took another colored see-through shower curtain and put it behind this one. You can still see through it, and it doesn't expose as much!

I purchased this shower curtain approximatley 11 months ago and it is still in great condition! Just buy a clear shower curtain liner for the inside and your ready to go. It really adds a lot of color to my otherwise boring bathroom and I get many compliments whenever someone comes over and uses the restroom. Not expensive at all and great quality. Purchase the matching round rug and the martini hooks for a whimsical look- you cant go wrong!

I'm using the Swell shower curtain as a window treatment in the kitchen of an upstairs apartment. I needed the privacy and this still lets the sunshine in through the clear vinyl. I cut it down the middle and sewed down the edges so it can be opened. Love it, love it, love it!

I've just recently bought my first home and picked up this curtain at Target. I would like to hear if anyone has any tips on paint colors for the bathroom now. It's a very small bathroom. Thanks

I just re-did my room and got this striped shower curtain and I love it! The only problem I have is I need a bed spread to go with it. I am painting my room red and this is the only shower curtain I found that I actually like but I really need a bed spread to match it!! Really cute shower curtain--I loved the colors, and it looks great. But we put it up in our bathroom, and now we can't have anyone else use the bathroom when someone's taking a shower. Why? Because the clear area frames the chest area perfectly!!! I don't know why they decided to put it there--maybe it's meant for kids, or short people under 5'8"...but beware!

I really love this shower curtain! My sons have been rough on our past totally plastic shower curtains and I wanted a fabric one...a kicky one! This one did it! I love the plastic section that also allows light into the showering area! I didn't have the problem others have mentioned about the curtain getting soaked-it's rougher on that side and my curtain is fine-I use no liner in addition to the curtain. What little wet it does get dries quickly.
