This item works well and does make the steering wheel radio controls work on my 2001 Honda Accord. The instructions are a little hard to follow. Read them carefully and a few times. The programming takes a while to understand. I recommend you check out their website and watch the videos.

This item is simple to install complicated to program. you may need to solder one or a series of resistors to get it to program for your vehicle. a resistor selection is included. i wound up purchasing 3 of these. the first two didnt work at all, the third works intermittenly. i get in my car start it turn on my radio and wonder if i will be able to use steering wheel controls today as this item works 40% of the time i guess i am used to it now. i am tired of talking to tech support they constantly tell me the my ground is poor and thats the problem. my ground is to bare metal with 10 gague wire. i think this could be a great product with a little more R&D.

Lag kills this product.,

Purchased this product for my 2001 Nissan Maxima to use with a Kenwwod head unit. The PAC swi-jack was difficult to install and program, but I got it done. The problem with this product is that the lag time from pressing the buttons is insane. Sometimes pressing the steering wheel controls does nothing. It is less safe using the steering wheel controls than it is just reaching for the stereo. A waste of money since I rarely use the steering wheel controls.
