Swiffer Disposable Cleaning Dusters Refills, Unscented, 16-Count (Packaging May Vary)

I used to use my lamb wool duster for ever, but when I saw Swiffer Duster coupon at Costco a while back I decided to give it a try. I loved it! I am totally converted to using this duster now. Here are the reasons why:

1. No matter how much dust I have, it never falls off.
2. When you are done, you don't have to figure out where to shake off the dust. You just take it off and toss it in the garbage. Very handy especially in the winter since I used to shake it off outside. However, when I shake it off in the yard I would see pieces of dust on the bushes. Not any more!
3. It is light and easy to maneuver. I use it for dusting everything from TV screens to blinds.
4. It is unscented.
5. If the house is not too dusty, I can get a couple of uses from each duster.

I am attaching a photo with two views: one of the duster's fluffy side and the other of the side which has sleeves to slide onto the duster handle. The fluff does not go all the way around, but I don't find that to be an issue. It dusts very well with what it has.

A note on price: The best price for the duster I found at Costco especially when they have a coupon for this item. Amazon price is pretty good but fluctuates. There is a nice online tool that I use to help catch a good price on Amazon, this tool is called "Online Price Alert". This tool will send you an email when the Amazon item price reaches the target price range that you specify. If you search on "online price alert" in Google it will be come up at the top. I find this tool to be very helpful.

I got this through Amazon and it came as described, a 16-count box of refills for the Swiffer duster. They fit the Swiffer and do what they are supposed to, get dust.
I prefer these to a reusable duster due to my household having severe allergy sufferers. If we keep a reusable duster around it makes us sneeze when moving it around (as well as using it) and I can see it shaking off dust as I move around the house with it. I haven't noticed as much dust motes falling from the Swiffer duster when I walk around with it. I do have to go through two or three to dust my house (aprox. 1700sq. ft.), but I don't think it is unreasonable as I dust all the fan blades, the blinds, the baseboards and so on when I do dust. These dusters collect a great amount of dust before clumps start falling off, when they get overloaded I stretch out their use by shaking it out over our outside trash bin and reusing. I've found doing this gives about two extra uses.
Since they are exactly what they claim to be and do what they claim to do (fit Swiffers and dust) as well as not aggravate my family's allergies, they get five stars.

Cleaning venetian blinds is usually a difficult job, requiring hours of labor, sponges, and endless buckets of water. As a result, most people (myself included) only clean their blinds when they move and need to get a security deposit back from their landlord. I bought a box of these duster pads on the advice of a coworker. Normally I try to use environmentally friendly products that can either be reused many times or are biodegradable. Swiffer Dusters are probably the least environmentally friendly product I've used to clean the house, but they are also extremely effective and saved me hours of work. I received every penny of my deposit back. I used them on all our blinds and the dust came right off (I think I used one per blind, but our blinds were totally filthy). I had to spot clean some trouble areas with a wet sponge and soap, but for the most part, the Duster pad removed dust from all the blinds in a manner of minutes. Because they reach difficult to reach narrow spots with ease, I didn't have to contort any of the blinds in order to clean near the threads. I simply ran the duster over the blinds once when they were closed, then opened the blinds and cleaned in all the crevices. Done. Easy peasy. These also work well for baseboards and the top of ceiling fans, as well as under stereo equipment and television sets. I wish the material was biodegradable or could handle being washed. I tried washing and the effectiveness goes way down after just one wash. Too bad - if these were reusable, I'd use them as part of my weekly cleaning ritual.

Being a professional cleaner, I look for ways to make my job easier and quicker. The Swiffer Duster has decreased my time dusting by almost half. Normally, I would use a damp cloth or a cloth with furniture polish, which is great for heavy duty dusting and fingerprint removal but the Swiffer gets into tight places that my hand cannot. The downfall of the duster is it's disposable and a bit expensive to use on a regular basis. Cost and not being earth friendly aside, it is a great product.

We have adopted stray kittens and keep them indoors: They are darlings and need our care, but they do shed fur and stir up quite a bit of dust when the are playing with one another; therefore, these dusters are virtual lifesavers in my house. I keep several boxes on hand and cannot imagine how I ever got along without them. The dust and fur cling to the dusters; thus, cleanup is a snap. Highly recommended.

I totally love this product! I saw this for the first time at my now hunsband's place while we were dating. At first, I was like, huh? a duster? are you kidding? They usually just spread the dust around into the air! But after trying it, I fell in love with this! It actually sucks up the dust and works super well! I told my mother about this and give her the extra one we had... she also loved it! We ended up buying 5 boxes and giving them to all my relatives as gifts! The fills are great to have... they are sturdy too... my mom would actually remove them and just handwash and reuse them a few times before discarding it! My apt is very dusty and I can't imagine not having this now...

My best find for dusting (I have a cleaning company) and Amazon offers the best price in town. I reccommend it to everyone.

Very happy with this product, it is accurate as advertised. I am sure there may be better dusters on the market, but for the price and for our needs in our home, these have been great.

I have used swiffers a lot. They are a great product and work well for us. I have been looking for a while to just get the refills and not a box with another handle. I've got handles everywhere. Once my order was placed I received my order very quickly. Package was in very good condition and here with in a couple of days.
