The best duster ever,
By I have alleriges and clean my house each week. I hate to dust, but knew it was very important to do. Each week I took the dust off of the tabletops, and other horizontal surfaces. My allergies were always a problem. With the Swiffer Extended Arm duster, I could easily reach surfaces that had dust but were hard to reach. This made a tremendous difference in how dust free my house was, and a reduction in allergic reactions in the house. We all sleep better for this. There was wall paper in our bedroom (behind the headboard) that actually attracted dust. The dust fell off as air hit it (from the hvac system) making us cough at night. The Swiffer took LOADS of dust off of the wall. Because of the extended arm, it is easy to get the dust off of the wall near the ceiling. I noticed that there was dust around the air conditioning duct in the ceiling. That is also easy to clean with the extended arm. These are the places that keep your house dusty after you have cleaned. Air movement pushes the accumulated dust out into the room. I thought I did a good job dusting my house, and was shocked how much dust came from these odd places. The Swiffer makes it easy to clean these places, so I clean them every week. Ceiling fan blades that have never been dusted have a LOT of dust on them. This dust comes off a little bit at the time. If the fan is right over you, as in over a bed, you are being sprinkled with this dust while you sleep. I was shocked how much dust came off of our ceiling fan the first time I used the Swiffer on it. Because of the extended arm, I could stand on the ground under the fan and clean the top of the blades. Once I started dusting these out-of-reach places regularly, I noticed that my allergy symptoms diminished. This is better than taking a bunch of allergy medicine. This is a hearty recommendation from someone who hates to clean, but has allergies. The extenable arm makes it easy to clean the out of the way places. Once you have done the first heavy cleaning with the duster, the duster pads last several weeks worth of dusting.

This review is from: Swiffer Duster with Extendable Handle Kit (Contains One Handle with 3 Dusters) (Kitchen)
My wife picked up a Swiffer Duster (extender model) to help with the housework. Man, this thing is revolutionary! It really does a number on dust and saves a lot of time. I like the long extendible handle in that I can dust any part of the room without the need for a stepping stool. I also like the bendable end so I can place the duster in some really awkward places with little difficulty.
We clean house together and I always get the tasks which require long reaching and dusting in places my wife can't easily reach. Well, this thing works so well that it has probably cut my dusting time at least in half while doing a better job. And it's just great at picking up dust. Where have these been? Is it a new invention? Five stars! Gary Peterson

Swiffer makes housecleaning swifter,
This review is from: Swiffer Duster with Extendable Handle Kit (Contains One Handle with 3 Dusters) (Kitchen)
I recommend the Swiffer extended handle duster. I have 2 dogs that seem to be shedding a lot lately and I also work so its nice to be able to dust heat registers, inside lamps and on top of ceiling fans easily with the extended handle Swiffer and have things look like I cleaned all day. I like their 360 dusters, which are fluffy on both sides and really trap dirt & dander. One of these refills goes a long way because of the two sided fibers. I normally do heavier cleaning with furniture polish and cleaners etc. about once a month and in between I use my Swiffer duster on everything including mirrors and curtains. I also use the Swiffer Wet Jet on my floor. It's easy to get hair off the floor with the Swiffer duster first and then use the Swiffer Wet Jet for a nice smell and polished look. I'm sold on Swiffer.

This is an absolutely fantastic item. I hate dusting and have hated it for over 60 years...this inexpensive and clever gadget actually has me running around for an excuse to use it. Much of our house flooring is Pergo...I use the Swiffer under beds, on floor moldings and on fan blades as well as everything else normally dusted. It really saves time and effort. Five Stars from me!

Hey Folks, if you don't like cleaning your house - and I don't know anyone that does, except Hazel - then don't buy this product. My order included only 3 dusters and I am down to "1" in less than 12 hours. I thought the "Swiffer Duster" was just another TV gimmick, boy was I wrong. This thing is a dust magnet to the highest order. Over the last 12 hours I dusted everything in sight, including the floors, base boards, the walls, and the moldings over my windows & doors; it picked up ever piece of dust that 'IT' could find. But here's the clincher - My Two Ceiling Fans. WOW, no wonder I wake-up every morning congested and trouble breathing when I sleep; the top-side of my ceiling fans 'was' caked with dust but I always knew this. With that said, "out of sight, out of mind." I figured as long as 'no one', including myself, could not see the top-side of my fans, who cares. Never again will I allow that amount of dust to accumulate on top of my ceiling fans. I bought the one with the extended handle, which is perfect for ceiling fans and overhead window & door moldings. I have eight foot ceilings to help give an idea of my fans height. The dusters are solid piece of construction, it didn't even fall apart when I used my vacuum cleaner to remove some of the dust. It has two elongated pockets which slide easily onto the two prongs located on the handle. Before you slide the duster onto the handle, just take both ends of the duster, shake it up and down for a few seconds, and you now have a fully fluffed duster ready for heavy duty dusting. You can call me Hazel, because I'm about to buy myself a bunch of refills and go on a HAZEL RAMPAGE!!!

No more precariously perching on a chair to clean the blades on the ceiling fan! I also use this to clean out the inside of the lint trap. Great to slide down there and pick up all the bits of lint that didn't stick to the lint tray. And I also use it to dust around the house in general.
