Be warned. The artificial fragrance in this stuff is really strong, so strong that we both got sore throats, headaches, and burning eyes.
We decided that "Open Window" means that one has to open their windows, even in the winter, to try to clear the smell out.
I will never buy it again. I contacted the manufacturer and they will not disclose what the fragrance is made from.

Been using swifter WetJet for 4 or 5 years. Grocery store only is carrying the fabreze version of the multi-surface and it is terrible. FAR TOO STRONG A SMELL. My whole house does not need to smell like this. I just want to get the tile floor shiny clean...not cause my wife and children nausea and headaches.

I have been using this product for about 6 years. As someone who has had two major neck surgeries it is impossible for me to carry a bucket of soapy water to clean the floors in my home. This product is just my answer. I use them for our wood floors and also to clean the ceramic tile. When I am done with the wipes, I save whatever liquid is left in the container and put it in a spray bottle to re wet my mop.
Buying them on Amazon is cheaper than Walmart and I don't have to have someone lug them home for me.

I bought a Swiffer starter set at the local store which came with one free wet pad.

The wet pad worked great (picked up dirt even after vacuuming and using a dry Swiffer pad) but the smell is cloying and overwhelming. Even though the air-conditioner is running, I have to open the doors and windows to reduce the nauseating odor.

If you're not sensitive to the smells, the wet pads are terrific for cleaning tight, out of the way areas that a vacuum cleaner or mop can't reach. If they made a fragrance-free product, I would have bought it.

I haven't mopped my floors in years - but I Swiffer them frequently. The Swiffer Wet Mopping Cloths are easy to use - just wrap one around the plate of a Swiffer Sweeper, push the fabric into the gripping tabs and start mopping. I have hardwood floors, and the Swiffer wet cloth has the right amount of moisture to prevent excess wetting of the wooden floors, but enough to get them clean. I do a quick clean about once a week, which requires just one wet cloth. When I'm doing a more thorough job and mopping the family room and living room too, several cloths are required because they dry up before the job is done. I like the fresh scent and the fact that the floors dry quickly. If there is enough moisture left in the cloth, I can flip it over and use the other side for more cleaning.

I also use the Swiffer Wet Cloths on the tile floors in the bathrooms, but on the rougher textured tile I need to get down on my hands and knees and scrub them with a rougher textured sponge from time to time to remove any grimy buildup. In between deep scrubs, though the Swiffer Wet is good enough.

I downgraded one star because the amount of moisture in the packs is inconsistent; one time I will get a pack in which all the cloths are dripping wet, and the next time I'll get a pack in which they're nearly dry. I usually flip the package over and let it sit upside down for a few minutes before removing a cloth in order to distribute the wet cleaning agent more effectively.

I made the mistake of using the Swiffer wet mop - got smell on hands (I didn't buy it, my granddaughter did.) How do I get it out??? Do I have to wear rubber gloves for the rest of my life? Nothing on the package about opening he windows. I should have known, I use 7th Generation and clean with vinegar - what was I thinking of?

My daughter suffers from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS - check it out online). - artificial fragrances make her sick - at its worst she passes out.. I just hope the smell is gone before I move back home - if not, she won't be able to come near me. Nothing on the package about fragrance or anything else. I don't like the smell of Febreeze. If 10% of the people are sensitive to chemical fragrances products should be clearly labeled, at the very least. If your house smells of dirty gym clothes, get them out from under your kids' beds and wash them. How are you going to know chicken is safe to eat? We have a sense of smell for a reason; too much exposure to fragrance is going to dull it, just as exposure to toxic noise leads to hearing loss. It's time for us to do something about it.

If you are accustomed to the smell of cleaners you may actually like this product. We tend to use milder cleaners, like Seventh Generation ("free and clear") or Ecover, or just unscented dish soap and white vinegar. Those that are scented use essential oils, which I don't mind too much. I gave these a try because of the convenience-quick mop while the little one is napping. I am not impressed with the performance. Some white vinegar and water, maybe a drop of dish soap on a sponge mop works much better. And when the rest of the family returned home they asked "eeww, what's that smell?" It gave me a headache, and the "fresh" scent hung around for about 2 days. The four legged family members also tried to avoid that floor for about a day or two.

Not to mention the enormous waste...

If you regularly clean with traditional cleaners you might just love this. It's just not for us.
