Since I discovered Swiffer Sweeper my cleanings chores got a lot easier. Most of my floors are wood and tile, and Swiffer Sweeper does a great job on them.
1. It catches dust, hair, small particles easily.
2. They stay on the sweeper and do not fall off
3. It is easy to dispose of them - do not need to clean vacuum filters or bags
4. It makes no noise (like a vacuum cleaner) so I am able to sweep when I am on the phone. This has become a great time saver! Any time I am on the phone I grab my sweeper and go over a room or two. The caller does not know I am doing double duty!
The best price for swiffer Sweeper I found at Costco especially when they run a coupon in their flyer. Amazon price is is decent, but fluctuates. I found a nice tool that shows history of Amazon prices and allows you to generate alert emails when the price reaches the desired price. If you enter "price history alert" in Google it will be come up at the top, it has the word camel in the name. I find this tool to be very helpful.

I had a swiffer for wet, and somehow I got it into my head that swiffer dry was a stupid product because it was just a paper towel down there. So that's roughly what I did when I wanted a dry sweep - just attached a viva cloth.
I had someone help me clean who insisted I buy these. Well, she was definitely right. I couldn't believe what a dry sweep removed from my floors with these cloths. There's definitely some static or something going on.
So overall, quite happy with these. They aren't just random dry cloths.
