At first I was suspicious about the claims of this product but after using it on wood floors I was convinced that it is a great way to keep a floor clean. No chemicals are needed. We have a golden retriever that sheds at least a cup of hair a day. The Swiffer is excellent for getting up this hair as well as the dirt that the kids track in. Try it and see.

You broom and your swiffer can be good friends.,
By There are two problems, one is that I still have to sweep first because the larger particles don't stick to the cloth. If I try to just swiffer then I end up using it like a push broom and getting everything into a pile. I still need a broom to get the pile into the dust pan. The second is that a cloth is really only good for one good sized room. I can go through 4 in one house cleaning. So don't let your broom go in hopes of replacing it with one of these. Don't get me wrong, I do love this little sweeper. I use it on my wood floors after I have swept and it gets all of the dust and hair that the broom leaves behind. It is great for getting the fine particles that usually go flying into the air when you sweep. But saying that you no longer will need a broom is like saying you will no longer have to sweep before you mop, it's not going to happen.

I love Swiffer cloths. Keep reading for a great helpful hint! I use them mainly for dusting various things like the dresser top, ceramics, window blinds, books, DVD cases, computer and for the floor of course. I first start with a lighter job then pick another which may be a little dirtier etc... This way, Swiffers can last for awhile longer unless you go straight for the floor. But here's something they don't tell you, you can wash them so they can be used again (I found this out by accident.)! They don't come out perfect but they definitely are usable again. I throw them in with my regular laundry which is never really dirty and run it on the light cycle. I also let them air dry. I don't have any white clothing so be careful what you wash the Swiffers with. You may want to delicate a load to Swiffer cloths exclusively so you do not run the risk of ruining your clothing. My washing machine is also 20 years old. This is only a helpful hint, use at your own risk! Anyway, if you feel adventurous, you can possibly cut your Swiffer cost in half. It's good for your wallet and the environment!

If your main objective is remove dust and the like. The swiffer is a very light weight easy to use machine and our cleaning lady who is aged, likes it very much.

This is an excellent little vacuum for little messes. I have six small grandchildren and eating can be very messy. This is very handy and helpful.

I ordered this product and am very pleased and I would do it again. The only drawback is how long the vacuum stays charged. It will do 2 to 3 rooms then
the battery has to be plugged in again for several hours. But over all for the price and it's so light weight I would get it again.

works great but need to frequently change the clothes,
I have the dry sweeper with vaccuum. It does a good job as it picks up the dust off the floor, but the clothes quickly fill with dust so you have to change them often. Normal pushing of the unit tends to catch dust on the leading edge of the cloth only. You have to put even pressure on the entire head to use the full surface of the cloth. You also have to wash the filter often to keep the vacuum portion working well. Wish the battery lasted longer, if you leave the vacuum on while cleaning it will soon loose power and won't pick up the debris. So you need to conserve the charge and turn it on only after accumulating piles of debris.

A Kid's Review
I have a great big living area. I must dust it all. Top of windows, picture frames, what nots, and on and on. I tied my swifter duster to a broom handle to reach the difficult places. It kept coming apart. I keep waiting for you to realize that you are asking hundreds of thousands of people to spend an entire day with a little stick, with a little duster on the end, to go on and be happy. I've a notion to write a song about it. In the meantime, I want a great big fat swifter duster, with an extension rod, for dusting big fat tall places. It should be at least two feet in circumfrance. Better yet, make that bigger. If you can't provide the extension rod, just make the handle very sturdy, so that I can rig one. I am a 71 year old kid, and swifter duster makes me smile. Barbara G.
