5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!, April 25, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Swimfan (Audio CD)
The Swimfan soundtrack ranges from rock to heavy metal. My favorites are Everything by Pacifier, Greater Than/Less Than by Saliva, and Cave by Celebrity. I think the heaviest song on here is Black by Sevendust. The rest of the songs are good, too. I'd recommend this soundtrack. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great soundtrack - great new bands, September 5, 2002
This review is from: Swimfan (Audio CD)
Fantastic soundtrack! Haven't seen the film yet but I can't wait to see how this music is applied to it. Favorite song on the album is "Clueless" by Pay the Girl, a new band I've never heard before. The soundtrack is worth it just for this great song; girls, once you hear it, you'll definitely understand!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pacifier Roks!!!!, September 30, 2002

To everyone who hasn't heard of Pacifier yet...wake up! Prepare yourselves for global domination from this NZ act! "Everything" which appears in the film and soundtrack to "Swimfan" is only a incredible taste of what's to come...Look out for Pacifier's self-titled album, available in the states early 2003 on Arista Records.

Spread the Fier and rok on!

I like song number 5 "Black - Sevendust" is great, everytime I hear this song, I'm just thinking of the movie.

I haven't seen the movie yet, because they'll show it on 9.01.03 here in Germany.. but I saw the preview in America. And I think I liked it from the first sight.

4.0 out of 5 stars Yes, where is that song?, February 13, 2007

This review is from: Swimfan (Audio CD)
In response Michelle Kinslow: I'm also looking for that song! I think either the band name or the song name is The Gentle Waves; I know this b/c I checked the soundtrack listing on the DVD. Maybe this is the name of the band? Sucks that this song is missing! I'm trying to find it!

2.0 out of 5 stars WHERE ARE ALL THE SONGS????, July 28, 2006
By
This review is from: Swimfan (Audio CD)
I have been searching high and low, and I am glad to see I'm not the only one - I have also been searching like mad for that slow, haunting song playing on the radio in the car while the best friend was making out with the stalker chick....... and it definitely ISN'T on the album. What the f45k is the point of a sountrack to a film if they leave out so much from the score??
Thanks to the guys that listed the missing tracks -- I just hope I can find a source to download the tracks seperately, without having to buy an entire album for just ONE song I have been looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Soundtrack, September 3, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Swimfan (Audio CD)
I bit the bullet and ordered this soundtrack. I am very pleased with it.
But there seem to be a couple of songs missing from the soundtrack that were in the movie.
Maybe someone out there can help me identify these? The first one being the "peppy", lively, dance like song at the start of the party scene, when Ben arrives. And then also in that same scene, the song that it changes to... very slow song. Not sure if that's any on the soundtrack.
All in all, very good. I listen to it everyday, at least once. Fav songs of mine are tracks 7 and 9.
