My 3 years old got it for the holiday.He loved it but it was hard for him to operate it. After 6 month of use it stoped working, it was not surprising because the bateries are in the water and geting wet. Will not recomend to buy it.

I bought a brand new unit as a birthday present for my 6 year old daughter.

She was thrilled with it, until I put it in the pool and the radio only had about 8 foot range.

This was a brand new unit with brand new batteries installed.

I checked the batteries, and even installed another set - no change.

My daughter lost interest in it.

A waste of money.

By the way, the ship is really tiny, fits in one hand.
