My friends and I each bought one duck for a large yacht party off of the Miami coast. It took a while to learn how to get on the duck because the duck was not designed for 25 year old men, but we figured it out. We tied the ducks to a back of a small motorized dinghy that towed us around anchored yachts. The ducks survived the weekend and were a huge hit with the party crowd.

With a plethora of popped pool floaties in our cabana and basement (yes, my kids are rough...) I hoped this would be a good product. We were NOT disappointed! This sturdy duck has 4 or 5 air compartments and provides a balanced ride. My daughters-- each 5'4" or so -- fit well on it, and my 6' 3" , 190 lb husband has spent an embarrassing amount of tie on it also. Highest recommendation on my part for mid-sized to big kids. I think it is too large for toddlers and it could be awkward to hold them on it due to the product's size. We have closed our pool and deflated it to store safely for the winter. When this toy is some day past its prime, I would without question try to order another product from this manufacturer. Which makes me think I need to determine the manufacturer now, rather than just the distributer...

I purchased this rubber ducky for my daughter's rubber ducky themed birthday pool party. I had low expectations for durability, but it looked really cool and I thought it would be a great decoration for the party. The packaging was ripped and beat up so I didn't even expect him to inflate, but he did - and very easily with a hand pump. Over the years we have purchased many, many, many large inflatables for pool fun and some are more durable than others, but so far this is the most durable inflatable we've ever had. Ducky is made of a high quality material - the same type that our lake tube is made of and it easily survived 3 hours of 17, 8-10 year old girls jumping on him, pulling on him and riding on him. Ducky was very popular. He is still floating in the pool several days later and I have not had to re-inflate him once in over a week. The only negative is that he is kind of hard to board. Someone needs to hold him while the other gets aboard, but once on, he is very easy to stay on. He looks just like the photo.

I would never ever order from them again. I ordered and paid immediately. I received the item and it was in a rag-tag re-taped box. The duck had a big hole in it - it made no sense to even try and inflate it. I followed their return instructions and received it back "postage due and refused". Now I have to re-send to get my original purchase price back less all this hassle. Amazon should NOT USE THIS SUPPLIER.

We like our duck. It's a mascot for a youth center and was used in on a parade float (no floating required).

The concept was fun. I bought it for my 3 year old daughter thinking she would enjoy it on the lake. Turned out there are more issues than fun:

1. Too wobbly to feel safe, especially for a kid.
2. The duck head is way too big. There are two handles on each side of the duck head. But it is a bit of a stretch for a kid to grab the handles.
3. The duck head is way too big. It obstructs your view. You have to tilt sideway to see what's in front of you. That usually means falling off the duck as a result.
4. Oh, did I mention the head is way too big? I tried to sit on it facing forward and backward. The duck head just got in the way. It is very annoying.
5. The duck sits high above water. Even an adult's feet can't touch the water. So when you're sitting on it, you have no way to kick or move forward. You basically just sit on it. That's is!

In conclusion, it is not a toy for a kid under 8. It can be a fun item to knock another adult off the duck because it is quite easy to fall off the thing.

I ordered the duck for the first time. I found out that there is a leak on the neck, so it went back to Amazon. I ordered it for the second time and found out that there were multiple leaks on the right wing and the neck. My kids wanted to play with this duck so bad, so I did it for my kids and ordered for the 3rd time and... yes it was another defective item. This time the air leak was on the tail and the main body. Amazon's policy is good that they will send you the replacement. But the thing is that, you have to inflate them, which takes over 30 min, and deflate them to pack it back, which is the pain in butt. So, it is up to you. It is highly likely that you will receive the defective duck. If you have the time to inflate it and check for the defects, and if it is, then you gotta deflate it to get your refund. and repeat until you get the good one. As for me, I am sorry to my kids, but I am done. I tried 3 times and gave my time for this... If you get the good one, I am pretty sure that it is a lot of fun! Good luck!
