Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

“This work by Ruben reminds coaches that they are teachers. It presents a very good system for teaching and learning the basic technical skills. It definitely provides coaches with effective tools for teaching.”

“Swimming Drills for Every Stroke is a remarkable compilation of stroke development drills, based on nine major segments which are systematically presented. The key drills for each stroke, together with the use of detailed focus points, make this a unique work by an accomplished stroke technician.”

In this book, Mr. Guzman presents key drills for each of the swimming strokes, starts, turns, and finishes. The drills presented are clear, easy to understand, and would be of value to swimmer's of any ability level. This is a wonderful compilation of drills from a distinguished coach in the sport of swimming!

This review is from: Swimming Drills for Every Stroke (Paperback)
This books seems to be directed at beginning swimmers. It's too basic for more experienced swimmers. Addtionally, many of the drills seem a bit dated. I may be a little biased since I am an advocate of the the Total Immersion style of swimming.
