Very sturdy and strong!

Love the shade as we are a fair skin family and the extra sun protection is a big plus.

What I love about this float is that baby can't get his face to the water.

Bryce's Gramma sent him this little boat knowing we have a pool and that inflatables just don't last. This boat is great!! He sits low enough in the seat that he can't flip over and would have great difficulty crawling out. The seat has four adjustment levels. Bryce is 30" tall and uses level two. I believe he will be able to use this for a long time...

Why not 5 stars?
1. Assembly - While not difficult, I'm not happy with having to apply stickers, which is what all of the decorations on the boat are. Stickers in water?? Curious as to how long they'll last. We'll probably end up drawing a face on when the stickers fall off.

2. The horn, which was supposed to have been preassembled, came laying in the bottom of the box. After one day's use, I've had to reinstall the horn 3 times. NOT an easy task given the tight fit. Will have to be glued in place if I can figure out how to glue with the tight squeeze. UPDATE: Have tried several different glues, all to no avail. Horn will not stay in.

3. The canopy falls back into the water. I flipped it over to try to put more tension into it. Now, looking at the photo Amazon provided, it looks like they may have changed the way it attaches. Tomorrow I plan to really shorten the "ropes" that are used to attach the canopy to the boat. It you look at the customer photos I provided, I made a note on one to illustrate.

Even with these few issues, I feel this boat is well worth the money. Knowing how many inflatables kids can go through in one summer, this is so worth it!

Our eight month old grandson loves this boat...It keeps the sun off him and has interactive play with the steering wheel and horn and side toys...We feel he is safe and we can pull him around the pool without having to carry him...Just great fun and a good picture taking opportunity...highly recommend...

We had one of these years ago for our first child. Gave that one away when he outgrew it, and with the arrival of our second, we had to get another one. These work so much better than the "pop up" or inflatable boats which for us tended to tip and tear more often. Our kids were always full of energy in the pool and this boat is very stable in the water when pushing them around.

This is a good product, but everything about the shade people have been complaining about is true. I have no idea how the plastic rod is suppose to fit in the notched hole they provide on the boat. I heated the rod... a little too much so it's very wobbly, I'll need to put a rubber band or something around it to make more snug...my grandson loves it so far though and works well.

I bought this product years ago for my older grandchildren and they totally loved it. I don't know if it was the same company then as now but the quality of the product is dramatically changed. I bought this boat for our year old grandson and he loved it but it does come with a major problem if you got one with a plastc seat instead of a cloth seat. The boat itself is great--I wish the horn made noise but as almost everyone has reported the canapy is a joke. The plastic is so thin ours broke within 2 days. Our old one was made of metal and lasted for years. The plastic seat is very dangerous. Within 6 weeks, while our grandson was in it, it tore at the molded seam from the leg hole to about 1 inch from the top. I didn't understand that after only 5 min. in the pool our grandson was crying to get out of the boat. When I took him out I was shocked to see how much the seat tore in such a short period of time. The tear was so big that he was actually falling through the left side of the seat. The seat was in perfect condition when I put him in it that day. I contacted the company and explained my problem and asked for a repacement seat and they don't make any--you have to buy a new product. Since I got no help from the company and the company knows that there is a safety hazard with the plastic seats on this product and still puts their production and profit over the safety of children, I have filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs and ask that you do the same if you have had a similar problem. I believe this company should recalll this product as the safety of the children should come first over profit for the company.
