I saw Flattop Tom at the La Pente High School(in Southern California). Flattop is local here so he plays all over the San Gabriel Valley areas. Flattop is a high energy perfomer with a distinctive and appeling voice, the growls and is somewhat rockabilly-ish. This cd features LA's top blues and jazzmen, and is a tight swing band, that plays blues, just as well as swing. The band swings HARD, and is one of the finest swing/jump blues bands in Los Angeles. This band is not only for lindy hoppers, but they often are featured at blues festivals. This cd is one of the most energetic and fun swing cd's and it's perfect for dancing. FUN!!!

Flattop Tom and his Jump cats put out a splendid effort here. Their tunes are fun to listen to and I think the dancers could really get into swingin' with these guys. The tunes are a little short but there's plenty of tracks to enjoy. I know many people who say they love this disc and this band. They won me over.

This cd is a classic, a jump blues cd for swing dancers and rockabilly nuts alike. Great hard rockin' feet stompin' finger poppin' picnicing and Sumemr BBQ-ing fun!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

If you are a real swing heperoo, then this is teh cd for you! If your an ickeroo then this in't for you. If you dig the lindy hop you need to buy this now at a shop. This is like the wildest swingining heppest cd around. Flattop gonna make a sound, that's goona drive yo' feets do the dancing beats. Man get yo' zuit suit and pleats and come on let's swing with Flattop!!! This cd is the heppest man!!!

When I get a Swing or Jump Blues album I am looking for dancing songs. This CD is loaded with a fine array of different tempo songs that will get you tapping your feet and jumping out on the floor with your partner. The male and the female vocals are great. Sound quality on my copy is good.

Je suis vraiment très déçu par la mauvaise qualite de l'enregistrement. Le son est vraiment mauvais. I'm a french swing dancer and I have been very disapointed. The sound quality of this CD is very low & bad.
