We have just finished building this swing set. It is an excellent value for the money however; there are a few notes to mention:
1) It cannot be built in 4-6 hours, I had two people one a professional carpenter and the other an extremely experienced carpenter build it and it took 3 days. Now they are excellent and detail oriented and it is built really well but it could not have been built faster.
2) The washers on the picnic table snag little legs so replace the washers ASAP.
3) The brackets make the structure much stronger and easier to put together!

Other than that, it is a definite 5 stars! I looked and looked and could not find a better swing set for the money.

After completion of the swing set, my kids have put hundreds of hours into playing over the last year.

Putting it together is not the easiest thing to do. It is very important to separate out the materials before beginning the project. Have a tape measure handy. We used masking tape to write measurements on the wood then stacked them in appropriate piles. There are many pieces that are very similar and may only be a half inch off from the others. It is very important that the correct pieces are placed appropriately.

However, after completion we felt a great sense of pride watching the children play with this set. It has stood up to the weather.

We had this playset installed last weekend and it's been getting lots of use since. It's on the smaller side - perfect for a 3-8 year old but would be a little small for an older child. Installation took our two handymen about 8 hours. We put it up just about a year ago, and the durability is pretty good. The construction is sound, but the stain/surface of the wood is peeling off, and we'll need to do a full sand-down and re-stain soon.

I never thought this playset would get as much use as it does. It is well worth the money! It keeps the kids busy all day.

I would give this a five star review if the directions were not so terrible. Be warned that you will receive extra parts not required, we were also shorted one plastic window but the manufacturer did ship to us with no hassle. Separating the parts before you begin is helpful, but I did not realize there was extra wood in the box so I thought I was shorted some wood when I actually could have cut one of the extra pieces. I found this out after buying and cutting a new piece of wood.

Got this for our 4yr old and 1yr old for Christmas 2011 as we figured we could let them grow into it. First I would like to mention assembly time, no where near what they said. It took my husband three days to complete this. The first day he worked for 10hours with someone the whole time. The next two days he did some by himself and some with a friend or family member. The biggest complaint he had was the directions were not very good. It had a ton of pictures but very little literature. My suggestion is to flip through the instructions the night before as he said some things on page 20 should have been on page 1. Besides instructions though it went pretty smoothly and am satisfied with the product. Kind of a waste for monkey bars since there is only three of them but kids still love playing on it. Bought one of those little tikes swings for my one year old and it works great with the swing set. Overall we are happy with the product. Now lets see how long it last

Set up is time consuming but the product is fantastic. After researching swing sets for a very long time, I found that this one had everything we wanted without the huge price tag. I am pleased with the quality and feel like it is plenty for a children's swing set.

This is a nice swing and slide for our grandkids. It took me 3 days to put together by my self, but wasn't too bad. just make sure all the pices are there. I did have to call the company to send some parts, but no problems with them.
