4.0 out of 5 stars great lesser known bands
Sure the more popular bands are excluded but if you want to hear some of the up and comers on the scene this is an excellent album to pick up. After hearing jet set six's perpetular bachelar I bought the album the next day. Same goes with the Camaros and the atomic fireballs, and both of the albums were great. so check it out

3.0 out of 5 stars Atomic Fireballs
Unlike the other tired poseurs on this recording, Atomic Fireballs elevate the album from the depths of embarassment. Singer John Bunkley's demonic Armstrong-cum-Waits voice could call Dr. Faustus from the depths of hell and back to the bar again for another shot of whiskey. The band has incredible energy, are talented songwriters, and are really the prime movers and shakers that make this album tolerable. The remainder is fluff material.

1.0 out of 5 stars Save it, March 23, 1999

I can't believe that this CD even sells. If you like swing, Get Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. This CD is a waste of cash. Save it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money, March 9, 1999
This review is from: Swing This Baby Volume 2 (Audio CD)
This is the worst swing(if you can call it swing) I have ever heard. The voices are terrible and the covers are ridiculous. These covers are embarrassing to anyone that takes swing seriously. Save your money to but some real swing.
