Just a quick review after getting this cd from Amazon....
I have owned the Bomboras "Savage Island" for years along with several other releases and always felt that some of their music was either Hit or Miss. "Savage Island" was and is a very strong cd, but "Swingin Singles" simply blew me away. After the initial spin of the disc,I can honestly say that I liked almost every track on the disc. Fuzzier,more Raw and a whole lotta fun to listen to. I like this cd much better than any other Bomboras cd I own and wish I would have bought this one alot sooner. If you havnt yet picked this up,or are a newcomer to The Bomboras or the Surf sound,I strongly suggest picking this one up. This will be in my disc player for a long time to come. |
