I shopped this out while working in clinical research, where we have huge binders and need larger holes so the pages don't get stuck so easily. I just bought one for home, too, so I can store all the printed-out research papers that I annotate and want to keep.

I won't go for anything smaller than the punch size included in on the A7074400F. Definitely worth the extra cost. The quality is strong, too. Very easy use.

Do NOT buy this punch if you are wanting a standard 7 hole format. The punch is not fully adjustable and cannot be used to the std 7 hole format. Just really good for the 3 hole format. The description is therefore incorrect.

I purchased this puncher 1 week ago, I had to spend 1 hour fixing it. After punching 50-70 sheets, one of the punch heads got stuck, and would not budge. I had to take this thing apart to get it loose. Noticed the hole was not of the same size, a miniscule smaller, so I took my dremmel, and started shaving some metal off, now it works ok. The manufacturing quality is very poor, did not expect this from swingline.
