Looks aren't everything, though...this is a beautiful hammock, but a single person using it is just engulfed in it as it folds up with their body weight! No crossbars on the ends to keep the hammock open, which makes it difficult to use at best. We're novice hammock users, so don't know if there's a trick to this or not. If there is, we haven't yet figured it out.

I rated this hammock with four stars. Overall I really like my hammock. I like the feel of the hammock, the size of the hammock, and the nice crochet art work. I rated this hammock with four stars due to the fact it has no spreaders. I would like this hammock even more if it had spreaders.

This has got to be the most beautiful and comfortable hammock that is made. It is just dripping with southern charm. This hammock will make any yard look wonderful. I should also mention that it is very comfortable. Just get lost in the beauty and comfort of this truly special hommock.

My mother just purchased this for my birthday as part of my with list for my new arbor on the back porch. Here in South Georgia you need plenty of shade in the summer and this is a perfect reading spot for me. I love the look of the wide trim. It has a very romantic inviting look to it. It is well built too. I'm am just trying to figure out where to hang it to show it off best. This is going to be what everyone goes to first on the patio. I should have ordered the pillow with it and will. I am glad I found it on Amazon.com so quickly.

I bought the Bossa Nova for my wife over 7 years ago. We love it and it is still as comfortable as ever. We leave it outside on a 2nd story balcony and it still has held up(always in the shade). This is great as a wedding gift. Perfect for 2 people, maybe even 3? It is very nice to look at as well.

The feeling of being engulfed in the hammock is actually an asset. The extra material in the hammock is to allow the user to stretch out comfortably. The traditional hammocks do not use a spreader bar to open the hammock up but rather use the object in it, namely you. A traditional hammock is meant to be lain in at a diagonal. This opens the hammock up considerably and flattens the curve of the hammock out. Try it. You have much more space and stability than a spreader bar hammock and he comfort is unsurpassed.

In reviewing this hand crochets hammock, I find its elegance breath taking. I long to find myself relaxing within its soft folds of yarn. Its abundance size can accomodate a wide range of people, for any taste!
